Mandyville exists as a series of novella like blogs that consist largely about my experiences while travelling overseas.
I've had other blogs before, MySpace, MSN Spaces, WordPress and since deleted them all before working on Mandyville.
Mandyville is supposed to be different, it's less of a outpouring emotional outlet in the public space and instead here I've tried to create some context to my experiences through the use of thematic storytelling.
I wordplay with the term "Mandyville" mostly because it sums up my disposition in life.
One definition of Mandyville you'll find here. The name is a Sorkinism. It comes from the fandom that surrounded The West Wing, though is not referenced within the show.
My own definition is more basic..."fictionalised characters disappear from television plot lines and life is equally as satirical."
